The collection of scientific papers includes materials of the International Conference "Scientific support of fodder production in Russia", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Federal Scientific Center ''VIK named after V. R. Williams'', which took place on September 13–15, 2022. The event was supported by the Grant in the form of a grant dated May 31, 2021 No. 075-15-2021-541 for the creation and development of the “Forage Crops Center for introduction of modern technologies into the agro-industrial complex based on the own developments of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "V. R. Williams Federal Scientific Center for Forage Production and Agroecology" (FNTs "VIK named after V. R. Williams"). The collection contains articles on breeding and seed production of various forage crops, meadow and field forage production, protection of agrophytocenoses from pests, diseases and weeds. The example of the Republic of Belarus shows the role of sustainable forage production in reducing the risks of animal husbandry.
